How Is Your Memory Loss Helping You?

Your subconscious can be telling you something but you're not listening. Sometimes, you think of a situation; an action, an opinion, an advice, a recommendation, etc. However, you can't remember who gave it to you. Yet, you remember exactly how you felt, and probably still feel, about it, and more specifically, about how you felt about the source of information! So, you remember that a reliable, trustworthy person told you to try eggs on your burger, but you can't quite put your finger on who it was precisely. At this exact moment, you will know what you think of them deep down, which can be very different from your conscious perspective of them. Or is it's the other way around, so you remember that someone whose opinion is a joke to you recommended pineapple on pizza to you, but you're not sure who it was. Now when you remember the name, you will know exactly how you see them even if you didn't realize it before. So you can forget the name and the face and the voice, but you can't forget the gut feeling.

The next time you remember what I'm telling you right now but forget where you read it, I hope your gut tells you it was a guy I trust who told me this!
